Homemade Kettle Corn

Homemade kettle corn is a sweet and salty treat that's perfect for snacking. This recipe yields crunchy popcorn with a delightful balance of flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup popcorn kernels

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat

Add popcorn kernels to the pot and cover with a lid

Once the kernels start popping, carefully lift the pot and shake it occasionally to prevent burning

When popping slows down, remove the pot from heat and sprinkle sugar and salt over the popped corn

Quickly cover the pot again and shake to distribute the sugar and salt evenly

Transfer kettle corn to a large bowl and let it cool before serving
